The calculator is a software that calculates some indicators such a potential profit, equity at risk and equity at risk percentage given account balance, entry price, target price, stop loss limit and share volume you plan to trade. The trading strategy is assumed to be swing trade.
A swing trading calculator calculates trade position sizes for various money management models, project profits based on earnings estimates and includes a swing trading planner to document each trade you execute. The history sheets thus created helps give you quick look at the history so that you can keep fine tuning your strategy. This software has a simulator which generates multiple equity curves of randomly generated trades based on key trading statistics. The simulation is based on long or short position being taken for the trade. The software is obviously for people with trading knowledge, but is simple enough to get you productive very quickly. The interface is tabbed.
Trade planner, position sizing, simulator, profit projections and tab about the publisher are available in the interface. After the trade has been planned you go to the position sizing tab and inputs that are required are quantity, price, stop price, leverage percent, risk percent and float percent. On the simulator tab you get the simulation of equity curve of your account over the long term. It systematically applies your trading method`s known parameters of Win Probability and Win/Loss ratio. Data of 450 trades is used to generate the curve. The simulator generates with a given probability whether you win or lose in a given trade. The equity trajectory is then drawn. You get profit projections as a guide to if you want to execute the trade or not. It’s a nice tool!
